Maple Shipp.
We’re specialized in emotional, story-driven content for big screens and small — and we’re devoted to capturing
everyday magic in branded, documentary, and narrative fiction films.
Whether it’s animated or live action, we make work that’s elevated, fun, poetic, and real.
I’m Maple Shipp, Pocket Moon’s founder and creative director.
I’m a New York–based filmmaker with over a decade of experience in production, and post-production. My background spans everything from writing to editing, motion design to film direction.
As an award‑winning creative voice in the industry, I’ve built a boutique studio that thrives on emotion, cinematic craft, and most of all, good story.
Pocket Moon is where my ideas take shape. Most of our productions start as sparks from my own notebook — concepts, stories, and visuals I can’t shake — and then grow into fully realized campaigns with the help of a trusted creative network.
